After graduating from Robert College, Zeynep Yalım Uzun completed her university education at Agnes Scott College in Atlanta, USA in economics and psychology. She has been on level C positions for the last 15 years of her career and has great experience in global brands, marketing and business management. During her career of more than 25 years at Unilever, one of the world’s largest fast-moving consumer goods companies, she has worked in Poland, Turkey and the UK and managed the global and regional operations of Unilever’s various brands. Yalım Uzun was the Vice President of Omo, Unilever’s second largest brand, operating in a geography of 80 countries, based in London. Zeynep Yalım Uzun has served as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Arçelik. Having a deep experience in the international start-up ecosystem, Uzun is currently working as a consultant, mentor and angel investor in various start-up companies. She is also an Independent Board Member at Doğanlar Furniture Group. Zeynep Yalım Uzun is on the Board of Directors of European Women on Boards, which works on gender equality in the business world, and on the Advisory Board of Women on Boards Adria. She is also Vice President of the Futurists Association of Turkey, a member of the Northwestern University Family Council and a trustee of the Koruncuk Foundation.
