Born in the Biga district of Çanakkale in 1965, Şadan Doğan completed his primary and secondary education in Biga. In 1987, he pioneered the establishment of the Doğtaş brand with his brothers. In 1988, he stepped into industrialism by establishing furniture and decoration production facilities. Aside being a founding member and manager in many non-governmental organizations, Doğan was elected as the Chairperson of the Biga Chamber of Commerce and Industry in 2013. Şadan Doğan continues to serve as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Biga Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Biga Organized Industrial Zone and Member of the European Union (EU) Harmonization Commission of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
